Friday is a chat app where each conversation is an AI assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it. It covers the Friday apps for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android and the service behind them.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Name and email address | To create your account and sign you in. |
| Phone number | Required at signup, to help us verify accounts and reach you about your account. We do not use it for marketing. |
| Password | Stored only as a salted scrypt hash. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone with database access. |
| Your messages and the assistants' replies | So your conversations are there when you come back, on any device. |
| Usage records | Token counts per workspace, to apply plan limits. |
| Product analytics | How the app is used, so we can improve it. See below. |
Your messages are sent to the AI provider you pick for that assistant, because that is how a reply is generated. Depending on the model you choose, that is one of: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, OpenRouter, Ollama, or another provider configured on this deployment. Each handles your data under its own terms.
If you connect an outside service — Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Notion, Linear or Slack — we store the access token that service issues, encrypted at rest, and use it only to carry out actions you ask an assistant to perform. We do not sell it, and we do not use its contents for anything else. Disconnect at any time in the app, and the stored token is deleted.
If you use “Continue with Google”, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, using the openid email profile scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts through sign-in.
Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Tokens for connected apps are encrypted at rest. Access to the production database is limited to the operators of this deployment. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Your account and conversations are kept until you ask us to delete them. Sign-in and reset codes expire after ten minutes. Deleting your account removes your account record, workspaces, conversations and stored connector tokens.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email admin.billionairestechnologies@gmail.com and we will action it.
Friday is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
